The industry’s first premium gel slurry in a BTEX-free solvent system with integrated paraffin inhibitor to preemptively treat for wax deposition
Throughout the U.S., deposits caused by paraffin and asphaltene adversely affect the production and economics of many unconventional oil and gas wells. While preemptively treating wells during the stimulation is nothing new, not all available pre-treat methods promise equal returns.
ParaFrac™ is a custom formulated guar slurry with an integrated paraffin inhibitor system that is not only designed to prevent organic deposition during the stimulation job, but to deliver added operator efficiencies via patented slow-release chemistries that penetrate deep into the reservoir to further minimize buildup and enhance well economics. ParaFrac™ is available with custom formulated paraffin inhibitors specifically designed for maximum efficacy against wax deposition in particular crude oils including a completely BTEX-free formulation that exhibits broad range efficacy in most crudes.
Available in various gel loadings from 4.0 to 4.5 lb/ gal, and in both standard 30-35 cps and high-grade 40-42 cps guar gel, ParaFrac™ is a fast hydrating guar slurry in a BTEX-free solvent system. It comes with a high-performance suspension package designed specifically to satisfy the demands of high-rate, continuous-mix hydraulic fracturing operations.
